SOBRE EL CONCEPTO DE SEGURIDAD LINGÜÍSTICA: PROPUESTA DE FORMULACIÓN PARA CONTEXTOS INSTITUCIONALES ESPECÍFICOS
Lorena M. A. De-Matteis
ABSTRACT
This article sets out to review the use of the conceptual pair linguistic insecurity and linguistic security in sociolinguistic tradition and to characterize the application of the positive notion in the bibliography regarding aviation institutional interactions. In light of this comparison, a second definition of the positive term is postulated which can be applied in specific contextual conditions whenever the utterances’ linguistic security and, by extension, the communicative situations’ linguistic security, has an impact upon the general safety of the institutional activities.
