Monique Nomo Ngamba
Resumen
The history of Black african literatures written in european languages is intimatly linked to the Negritude. Both the old and the new generations of the african writers have always been preocupated by the moral issues as well as the political, economical and social development of the continent. To the extend that Lewis Nkosi declared that "No work purpoting to introduce the student to african literature can be said to have accomplished its tasks without explanatory remarks to the theory of Negritude".
In the form, the originality and the achievement of new generations resides on the fact that they have employed with success the new narrative techniques taken from the european tradition and adapted them to the oral tradition. The new critical approach of black african literatures written in european languages is therefore a pluralistic approach which includes the european new criticism as well as the mastering of the oral tradition.
