ABSTRACT
The memory, as a fiction and the literature as a construction, is a mosaic that lies before the writer in the ongoing task of reviewing the past and appeal to the memory of the writer and the reader to write the future. This memory, of course, is far from the history and takes place in the modern society inside an organized rivalry memories, characteristic of pluralistic societies. In this sense, the literature serves as a memory (not History) of totalitarian societies, where memory and history, both officers must fully agree under penalty of being modified.
