Este trabajo trata de poner de relieve la dignidad de los numantinos a través de la descripción comentada de la tragedia y del análisis del comportamiento de los personajes en sus diferentes momentos del acontecer bélico. La dignidad y el amor a la libertad de los habitantes de Numancia contrastan con la actitud arrogante de Cipión y del conjunto de los romanos, obsesionados con la toma de la ciudad. El texto se compone de tres apartados: introducción, descripción de la tragedia y poética de la dignidad. La bibliografía pone fin al artículo.

ABSTRACT

This work tries to emphasize the dignity of people from Numancia through the description of the tragedy and the analysis of the behavior of the characters in their different moments of the state of war. The dignity and love show to the freedom of the inhabitants of Numantia are in contrast with the arrogant attitude of Cipión and the Roman group who were obsessed of taking the city. The text is made of three different parts: introduction, description of the tragedy and Poetics of the dignity. The bibliography closes the article.
